Dr. Michael Ryan
Head of the Product and Innovation, PhD, MSc, BHK
The inventor of the Trident Foam technology, is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University, a global leader in the role of footwear, orthotics, and the prevention of injury.
Dr. Ryan received his doctorate from the University of British Columbia, and after completing two postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Griffith University he has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles in top journals in the fields of sports medicine, orthopedics, and biomechanics and supervised a dozen graduate students.
Mr. Mark McColman

After achieving his degree in Kinesiology/Human Kinetics, he went on to found, operate and expand Kintec: Footwear + Orthotics into Canada’s largest independently owned footwear, orthotics, and bracing company.
Applying over thirty years of experience in the industry and assessing over a quarter million feet, Mark brings his experience assessing, designing, and manufacturing custom insoles/orthotics to HumanCo, allowing you to experience the relief of the Freedom Insole.
