The inventor of the Trident Foam technology, is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University, a global leader in the role of footwear, orthotics, and the prevention of injury.
Dr. Ryan received his doctorate from the University of British Columbia, and after completing two postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Griffith University he has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles in top journals in the fields of sports medicine, orthopedics, and biomechanics and supervised a dozen graduate students.
After achieving his degree in Kinesiology/Human Kinetics, he went on to start, operate and expand into Canada’s largest independently owned footwear orthotics and bracing company. By applying over thirty years of experience and assessing over a quarter million feet he brings his experience assessing, designing, and manufacturing custom insoles/orthotics to this product.
